Sutherland eNews is an “opt-in” mailing list for those interested in receiving news about Sutherland Lodge. You do not have to be a member of Sutherland Lodge to sign up for Sutherland eNews. If you have not already done so, we encourage you to subscribe. Members of Sutherland Lodge are automatically subscribers to Sutherland eNews, if we know your email address.

To subscribe to the Sutherland eNews, simply send an email to eNews@sutherlandlodge.org with the word “subscribe” (without the quotes) in the subject line. Please also include your lodge name (and number if one) in the body of the message. You must send this email using the email address to which you want the Sutherland eNews sent. This will confirm that you are subscribing and that someone else is just not submitting your email address, perhaps without your knowledge and consent.

By subscribing to Sutherland eNews, you will receive notices of upcoming events including reminders of Stated Communications as well as announcements of Called Communications and Degrees, ritual practices, Masonic Education programs, and Masonic social events, etc. You will also receive notice when the Sutherland Lodge electronic trestleboard is posted on the website and ready for viewing or downloading.

To unsubscribe from Sutherland eNews, just send an email to eNews@sutherlandlodge.org with the word “unsubscribe” (without the quotes) in the subject line. As when you subscribed, you must send your unsubscribe email from the same email address you are unsubscribing. This will confirm that you are unsubscribing and that it is not someone else unsubscribing you without your knowledge and consent.

If we receive a “hard bounce”, that is, a message saying your email address is not valid, that email address will be removed from our email listing. If we receive a “soft bounce”, that is, a message saying the email address is “over quota” or otherwise temporarily not receiving email, we will continue to attempt to send email to that address for up to three additional eNews editions. After three consecutive “soft bounces”, we will remove that email address from our email listing.
